The rebuilt front end. Picture speaks for itself. A local engineering firm made up some sleeves to convert the original imperial taper head bearings for new metric items.

Attempted to fit a Lockheed caliper, but due to the spoke angles and the position of disc, it wouldn’t fit. So it looks like it will be this unit, or a very similar early Lockheed floating caliper to do the stopping.

You may be able to notice that the front fairing bracket is bolted onto the headstock.
