There have been a number of additional parts added to the bike over the 2001/2 winter period. These have namely been a new replica top yoke, new straight cut primary gears, fitting of the oil tank, and reverting to the original front fork springs. |

This is the new top yoke. It is an exact replica of an original A1-R. Had to make up some spacers just under the fork top bolts. Looks great. This also lowered the front end down, as the yoke is flat, which meant having to use the original springs, instead of the stiffer Manx items. |
|
Finally I fitted the oil tank. Made up some steel brackets, with rubber loops over the top. Not exactly original, but comes very close. The tank is used as the breather bottle from the oil filler plug. |

And this is the almost finished item. The faring has still to be painted, but that’s about all. It has the new straight cut primaries fitted. |
